A benefit of her transformation (and she had been looking for those since it happened) was that Jeka no longer had to worry about the effects of sand on her cyber-arms. On the other hand, it was getting in her hair, and she couldn't bury herself in it the way she liked to anymore, but she was trying to focus on the positives.
