Brainy's facts are Slightly Depressing Yo 1/?

1. His first kiss ever was with Brenda on the ship. Ever. The first time he ever let anyone shake his hand was when RJ Brande shook it when meeting him when he was eleven. (Brande was the first person he met that was remotely friendly towards him. Usually when someone held out their hand to shake Brainy's, he'd just ignore it, but there was just...something about Brande that made it so Brainy didn't mind). Barring when he was held the day he was born by his mother (before she abandoned him), the first real hug he ever got he got from Spark, when he was 15-years-old, after the two had bonded a little. He didn't hug her back.

2. He was raised by robots (ones with rudimentary AIs with no personality, that tended to talk like "BEEP, IT IS TIME TO INTAKE NOURISHMENT"), in a section eked out for him in the Colugov Lab Complexes and most days, he didn't even see another living being. He would have a list of tasks to complete and once they were finished (child's play), he'd work on his own projects. Eventually, he'd sleep and share his knowledge with the SleepNet, only to wake up the next day to start it all over again. Rinse. Repeat. The two politicians that were his guardians, Council Members Dak Lix and Erz Pak, would maybe stop by to berate him once a month for violating safety protocols, among other things. Brainy is used to living his entire life by routine, which is why he hates having lab time interrupted and doesn't like spontaneity.

3. Brainy's body movements are fluid, but very very precise, and he has excellent reflexes and coordination, largely because his brain can process things so quickly, and since he can dedicate one track of consciousness to the task of consciously guiding body movement. He's a little stiff, but he can be pretty graceful if he tries. I see him as moving a bit like Abe Sapien from Hellboy, just a little more stiffly.

4. When he was a baby, it took him about two weeks to figure out that crying wouldn't bring anyone to comfort him, so...he just stopped. However, whenever he cried, if he wasn't hungry, didn't need a diaper change, or any of that, his carebots would bring a warm blanket to wrap him up in and set his crib to rock, so whenever he was feeling particularly in need of comfort, he'd fake cry to make them bring the warm blanket, squirm out of being wrapped up in it, and then would pretty much full-body cuddle the thing to compensate for all the missed contact comfort. After they decided he was too old for comfort objects, at age 1 and a half, he broke most of his toys in a temper tantrum.

5. His first friend was an AI, a program he created to be a playmate for himself. As the program was named DOX_00021 as the default, and Dox himself liked having his friend's last name, Brainy simply called him Dox. Dox was the only playmate Brainy ever had, and the only person pretty much in the universe that ever got him to play. He would do fun little puzzle games and logic problems with him and occasionally logic-based imagination games. Dox made Querl laugh for the first time when he was 2.

But then his two guardians confiscated Dox to sell him, and partially as a way of subtly punishing Brainy for having fun when he was supposed to be working. Yet again, Brainy smashed all his things in a temper tantrum.
