17. Brainy's creation C.O.M.P.U.T.O and the mech life forms of Robotica were responsible for the deaths of millions on Xanthu and in space. As a result, while the UP still considered him a hero in general, he was exiled from Colu and the Xanthans wanted his head on a pike. Meanwhile, the Roboticans saw him as the great creator, and nearly worshiped him as the creator of C.O.M.P.U.T.O--the One that gave them all free will and sentience--and as the progenitor of mechanoid life and the Father of Machinekind that helped them evolve to achieve true sentience.
He likes to pretend he doesn't, but Brainy does consider C.O.M.P.U.T.O his son, and hopes desperately that Stacy's saved him, despite Computo's past sins.
18. He doesn't like them touching him with their sticky fingers, and acts like he hates them, but he likes very small children. They tend to say exactly what they're thinking, and for someone that has difficulties navigating the turbulent waters of social interaction, that's much easier to deal with than talking to adults sometimes. The crew would probably be surprised to see how patient he'd be taking care of a baby or something, but the Legion's rescued a lot of people over the years and it means they all have to be good with comforting scared people. He's actually very good at calming down small children, mainly because he's always so calm in a catastrophe himself.
19. He rigged up the game systems at Legion HQ so that he could play the villains when the others think they're playing the computer. And he pretty much always wins. He will probably do that to the Media Library if he can get away with it.
20. Aside from never having sex (I mean, he just had his first kiss at age 21, yeesh) he's never even uh, done any lap-based web-browsing if you catch my drift. This is part of why he has no idea why humans are so sex-obsessed, though a big part of that is a naturally low sex drive. (Coluans are very long lived and don't need to mate as frequently to keep the population. Humans are shorter-lived and tend to get by on adaptability and sheer numbers--ergo, they have to breed more, ergo they have higher sex drive).
That being said, the Brainiacs tend to be more passionate than the other Coluans. The evil ones tend to take pleasure in evil or divert that passion towards conquering, but Brainiac 5, like Brainiac 2 once did, tends to direct that towards certain people. With Andromeda, who he thought was pretty and had crushed on without acting on it, when she "died" (it was a fake death), he smashed up his whole lab in a teary-eyed rage.
Brainy tends to let his feelings explode out violently.
Unlike the rest of his species, if Brainy ever really falls in love with someone, it'll be nothing like the cold genetic matches most make. He'll probably be crazy-go-nuts passionately in love with them and wanna do them every five minutes.
While his outward appearance is colder, the truth is Brainy's emotions, needs, and desires, are felt far more strongly by him than most Coluans feel them. He just has much more emotional control and represses them, largely because emotional outbursts would've made people even more terrified of him, and his upbringing didn't give him the skills to process emotion in a healthy way.
