BONUS FACTS

11. In regards to tactile contact, Billy doesn't mind receiving it (as long as it's not the ears). He won't admit this, but he even likes it. He was jumpier about it when he was younger, as the only people who would touch him then were bullies shaking him down for lunch money, but constant petting and hanging-on from Jason and Zack brought him around. ((No, seriously. Watch any episode of MMPR. Those Rangers can't keep their hands off each other. And Kim and Trini aren't any better about keeping their hands to themselves.))

12. Being the somewhat socially awkward one Billy doesn't touch people as freely as his friends would, but he tries. If he knows a person well and doesn't think they'll yell at him for it, he'll rub an anxious person's shoulder or pat their arm. When they succeed at something and it's celebration time, he'll gently pat their back. He doesn't do the hearty macho backslap thing because it can dislodge things if you aren't careful. Hugs are reserved for Trini Adam people he trusts in emotional situations, whether it's a happy or scary one.

13. The key words Zordon used to describe Billy are 'patient and wise'. The words Dulcea used (in regards to the ninja powers he never got the chance to quest for before being rescued) were 'cunning and swift'. The word his actor David Yost used was 'loyal'. I tend to agree with Yost, but characterize it as 'stubborn' also.

14. He was a bit disappointed to go from having a Triceratops to a Unicorn zord, but he's felt better about it since Jamie told him about the vicious unicorn he met. (And, as Adam keeps insisting, Lion to Frog is a worse downgrade.)

15. Even though he has the body of a Greek god, he's incredibly shy about showing it. He's the only male Ranger from MMPR who never takes his shirt off onscreen, not even while swimming. Part of this stems from bad gym class experiences, and the rest stems from the quite noticeable scar on his stomach left by an appendicitis surgery accident.

16. He's mostly come to terms with B5's death, but he's still avoiding Brainy out of an irrational fear that he can't shake off.

17. Despite his concern with appearing adult and responsible and his firm belief that work comes first, he loves to play games with friends. His arm just has to be twisted a little.

18. One of Billy's bigger weaknesses is his love of the unusual. Though he constantly fights off monsters, he will happily try to befriend almost anyone who doesn't attack him first, no matter what they look like. Thus his ready acceptance of Goliath, even if he kinda looks like Goldar.

19. Billy's brain is his most precious possession, so the fact that Stacy and certain crew members can read him that way is quite an unsettling adjustment. He really doesn't like that his memories were altered, no matter how horrific the Ohm attack was.

20. Finally, he is afraid of fish due to a fish bite from his childhood. Yet he eventually marries a fish/human hybrid. Go figure.
