flunkingspanish: Paco missed out on a road trip to Kansas (and the first time meeting the first Blue Beetle's granddaughter) because he had to take extra classes. Apparently, his teacher said he was "speaking Spanglish". Paco's at-the-time girlfriend (not Brenda) literally fell to the ground laughing when she heard.

mynameisax: If you have ever read an Animorphs book, you know why. For those of you who haven't, each book in the series starts with "My name is [blank]", [blank] of course being the narrator's first name. Ax is actually the only one to use his full name (until the very end of the series, when we get Jake's (and probably Rachel's) surname), as he doesn't have to hide his identity to keep the Yeerks off their trail. Everyone calls him Ax, though. We're lucky Marco didn't decide to call him "Milly".

vision_ya: This was the first RP journal I ever created. I made it prior to Jonas picking his own first name (hell, it was before the first Young Avengers series was even finished). So... "Vision", because it's his name, and "ya" because he's a Young Avenger.

hatngartersnake: Jeka likes hats. At one point, she had the Legion's in-house engineer make her a fancy fan to take with her while she went out dancing. When complimented on her illusion, she revealed that, like the fan, the hat was real. So I started from there, and went "hats -> accessories -> garters -> garter snake". Voila!
