The Sort-Your-Characters Meme!

Totally not stolen from anywhere, it's the Sort-Your-Characters Meme! 8D

Basically, if the Sorting Hat were to be placed on your characters' heads right now, which Hogwarts House would they be placed in?

Gryffindor: "The particular characteristics of students Sorted into Gryffindor are courage and chivalry, of which the lion is the symbol. Gryffindor's house colours are red and gold."

Ravenclaw: "Members of this house are characterised by their intelligence and cleverness. Its house colours are blue and bronze, and its symbol is the eagle."

Hufflepuff: "Hufflepuff is the most inclusive among the four houses, valuing hard work, patience, friendship and fair play rather than a particular aptitude in its members. Its emblematic animal is the badger, and yellow and black are its colours."

Slytherin: "Slytherin is traditionally home to students who exhibit such traits as cunning and ambition. Its emblematic animal is the snake and its colours are green and silver."

Post threads for each of your characters below, and watch to see which houses your character gets voted into. Feel free to include your thoughts on your characters, too, because this is not an IC meme. Be sure to vote for other people as well, and have fun!

Here are the current results, based on the votes each person received. I'll keep updating the list as more results come in, so this could change...

Gryffindor: 17 (Wyn, Kang, Samus, Obi-Wan, Mai, Kirk, Kate, Dean, Impulse, Guy, Caelestine, Scottish-Jamie, Mulan, Goliath, Will Vandom, Chief, Bella)
Hufflepuff: 14 (Hunter, Tess Lee, Nanoha, Spider-Man, Fate, Ahava, Rei, Xander, Vivio, Komali, Kaylee, Katara, Aeneas, Caden)
Ravenclaw: 13 (Ranger-Billy, Mei Ling, Haku, Dr. Augustine, Indigo, Ted Kord, Allen, Dustin, Indy, the Major, B5, Lyle, Luna)
Slytherin: 13 (Roxie, Terry, Lash, Sawyer, Gambit, Asuka, Motoko, Spaurh, Damian, Sheeana, Alessa, Marco, Jack Spicer)
Batusi: 1 (Batman. Duh.)

Ravenclaw, for the love of learning new things and technophilia.

Obvious Slytherin

He did. Ravenclaw's perfect for Ted.

Re: Xander Harris

He really does. I saw it in a fanfic a while back, and it just fits for him. Loyal and he does work hard.

Kaylee Frye

[identity profile] voiceofserenity.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 04:15 am (UTC)(link)
Though I've got a pretty good guess on where already...

[identity profile] voiceofserenity.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
Gonna have to say Ravenclaw here.

[identity profile] voiceofserenity.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 04:22 am (UTC)(link)
Based solely on her interactions with Kaylee, I'd have to peg Nanoha as a Hufflepuff. She's just got the right bubbly personality for it.

[identity profile] voiceofserenity.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
Definitely a Ravenclaw, this one.

[identity profile] voiceofserenity.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 04:24 am (UTC)(link)
Gryffindor. Duh.

[identity profile] voiceofserenity.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 04:25 am (UTC)(link)
Proooobably Gryffindor here...

Re: Wyn Callahan

[identity profile] madeofwyn.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 04:30 am (UTC)(link)
OH RIGHT my opinion on Wyn is as follows...

I don't think she's quite intellectual-y enough to be a Ravenclaw; they tend to learn for learning's sake, and Wyn's more focused on practicalities. I think she's more Gryffindor than anything, although she doesn't fit any of the houses exactly.

Let's be awesome in Hufflepuff together, even if everyone thinks Billy's a Ravenclaw.

Slytherin or Ravenclaw.

...Probably Slytherin.

Which house has laser nipples?

Ravenclaw

[identity profile] voiceofserenity.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 04:49 am (UTC)(link)
Hufflepuff was my other choice for Billy, actually. Heck yes 8D

Re: Samus

[identity profile] afro-wunderkind.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 04:49 am (UTC)(link)
I'm thinking you're right.

Re: Lash

[identity profile] afro-wunderkind.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
Of course not! It's the most badass house, considering the options.

Re: Ted Kord

[identity profile] so-pregnable.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 04:51 am (UTC)(link)
Hufflepuff.

He got where he is through hard work and he's loyal as hell. I mean, come on:

Hufflepuff is the most inclusive among the four houses, valuing hard work, patience, friendship and fair play rather than a particular aptitude in its members.

I mean, come on, that is JLI all over.

Ravenclaw.

Re: Xander Harris

[identity profile] speedforbrains.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 04:56 am (UTC)(link)
Definitely Hufflepuff.

Re: Terry

[identity profile] beyondgotham.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 04:58 am (UTC)(link)
...What's a bat got to do with the snake house?

Re: Terry

[identity profile] beyondgotham.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 04:58 am (UTC)(link)
Really now? Reasons?

Re: Terry

[identity profile] speedforbrains.livejournal.com 2010-01-25 05:02 am (UTC)(link)
Well, he's clever. Not Bruce level brilliant, but he uses his wits to outsmart the villains anyway. I guess I could see him in Gryffindor too, but he doesn't have quite the HERE I COME TO SAVE THE DAY feel most Gryffindors have. He doesn't seem that ambitious, so not Slytherin, and I really can't see him in Hufflepuff.

He's definitely got the pig-headed heroics down!
