THREAD MATCHMAKER... OF LOVE AWESOME

Yes, another CR meme. Only this one is a bit different. Rather than look to build CR with your own characters, this is about helping to build CR between other peoples characters.

The rules are fairly simple. Suggest a thread between two or more characters, but none of the characters suggested may be yours, and add in a reason for the suggestion. (And, yes, "because it would be awesome" counts as a reason.) Then look through other posts to see what suggestions people had for your pups. With an outside perspective, someone might suggest thread pairings that might not have occurred to you ordinarily. And if you decide to make it happen, the rest of us get something potentially awesome to read.

So, my suggestions:

Iceman and Katara, because... seriously, why hasn't this happened yet?

Kirk and Han Solo, for it would be badass.

Claire Redfield and Fate T. Harlaown, because they both have cute little girls and significant others who work themselves to death.

Nanoha and Batman, because I want to see if her cheerfulness will make his head explode.

Luna Lovegood and the Doctor. Any of them. Because those creatures her father writes about have to be real somewhere!

Team Jamie/Jaime: I bet they could pull an epic prank.

Blin and Renne: Team Blind, and I think Blin could use a pesky imp.

Cae and Rhiow: Cat and mouse games. Has to happen!

Seconding the Nanoha/Batman suggestion, because I'm pretty sure Batman's head would explode.

Dr. Augustine and Dr. Brennan, just because the ship needs more badass-scientist interaction.

Topher and Brainy. Don't get me wrong, I love Topher, but he needs to realize that he's no longer the smartest guy in the room ship. (Also, I think he would dork out, which could be awesome in and of itself.)

Luna and everyone. No, really. Because it'd be awesome.

Castiel and everyone, because ditto.

Jokimru and the rest of the cheerful science people, because there should be some sort of cheerful-science-people club.
