The Chief: The Halo 2 Soundtrack is totally cheating, but I really love these: Unforgotten Peril And I can't leave this thread without linking the Halo Theme - MJOLNIR Mix because it is totally awesome. Basically, Halo music pretty much nails it for him. I have some minor additions of my own I use for him but they're nothing to phone home about.
Bella: Natalie MacMaster - "A Blast" This song has a lot of energy and a little bit of aggression, even in the happy parts, that really fits with Bella. She does nothing half way.
Grif: Joe Satriani - "The Feeling" I like the sound/feel of it, though it's brief. Reminds me a little of the music present in RvB, too.
Vega: Joe Satriani - "Speed of Light" (You guys can tell I like Satch, huh?) This song has a lot of energy, a loooot of positive energy and it would actually be a decent piece of semi-unserious Zoid battle music in my opinion. It's very optimistic but slightly show-offy? I like it, anyway.
Hisk: "Back Country Serenade" Bonnie Rideout - "What the Devil Ails You"/"Loch Ness" Hisk is a roughspoken child of the backwoods (besides being a dragon) and she's also quite optimistic/chipper, so I like the fit of the first one for her. The second is more... introspective. Serious. More her dealing with the serious issues of her life, which is usually something she keeps to herself.

My music tastes and Jack's do not really agree all that much, but he's fond of loud music while he works and this stuff always springs to mind.
