Fleischheim. It's a bustling medieval metropolis, possibly a port or trade city of some kind, surrounded by massive walls. In the center is a fortress, the home of the ruling authority of the land. It's an old-tech place, one where people who claim to have magic are believed, for they may or may not be telling the truth, alchemists yearn to transmute lead into gold, and guards in chain mail and knights in plate keep the peace.

Your characters are now in this place, as visitors or citizens. If they're not human, they are now. If they're superhuman, then they're merely the stuff of legends here, be it through skills or amazing physical prowess.

Well, she'll lean on the windowsill and call out, "See any evildoers yet today?" With a teasing smile on her face.

"None at all." Fate called back, laughing a little. Instead of continuing on with her patrol, she walked over to the open window, smiling brightly. "And how are things at the Guild going?"

She sighed. "They're going okay, I guess. It's boring today - we're waiting on the results of something that's going to take hours to finish, and it's not like we can do any work in the meantime."

"... Would you like some company for a while, then?" Fate said. "I was going to take a short break soon anyway."

It wasn't a complete lie... she had been patrolling all morning, and was planning on stopping for something to eat... she just wasn't planning on doing so for another hour or so.

"Oh, sure, I'd love to! Though you probably shouldn't come inside," Nanoha said after a pause. "Just in case something explodes."

"Ah... right." Fate had heard about the last time something had exploded inside the Alchemist's Guild... and she wasn't really that eager to see it for herself.

"Would you like to pick where we go?"
