At the end of the battle with the King of Nightmares, Cargn took it upon himself to cleanse the city of any residual corruption.
Slowly, he walked the streets, chanting an ancient incantation from the massive tome he carried with him.
At the end of each verse, there was a loud, heavy
THUD
as he slammed the tome against his head.
He was certain he was performing the ritual right, but by the Emperor, did he want to throttle the person who came up with it.
