Kang had resigned himself to never being able to leave Harry and Riza's home whenever he, Fonrar and the younglings visited the Dresden family in Chicago. There were only humans there, and more than likely, they'd be captured by the authorities out of fear. So, when Harry had grinned and asked if he'd like to go to a pub, the bozak had jumped at the chance.

The long coat that had been provided didn't quite cover his tail, but that wasn't as important as his wings. A wide-brimmed hat fixed the horn problem, and minimizing how much time was actually spent on the street kept anyone from asking questions about his snout.

Upon entering Mac's pub, Kang quickly decided the cramped ride in the Blue Beetle and the uncomfortable coat that pinched his wings was well worth it. Not only had he finally gotten to meet the infamous Karrin Murphy, but the food and ale proved to be just as good as promised.
