- When Sherry was five, she got the chicken pox. Being the father he is, William actually came in while she was sick and told her exactly how the virus worked, and what happens to it when the chicken pox have all cleared away. Sherry at the time was horrified, but realized later that her father was trying to make her feel better.

- Sherry's favorite memory of them as a family, before her father and mother became total workaholics was when she was eight, and they went for a spring picnic at the city park. That's when her hair was much longer, and her mother braided it.

- She went to exactly one Take Your Daughter to Work Day, after years and years of begging her parents. To keep her out of the harm's way, William had Yoko Suzuki keep an eye on her and explain DNA chains.

Sherry already knew what those were.
