The Morning After Meme!

1. Your character wakes up in a bed that isn't their own. Or maybe it is.
2. That person in the bed next to them though? They definitely aren't supposed to be there.
3. Soooo... what happened? What clothes are still on, if there is anything? And most importantly, what happens next?

[That brings about a small smile, and a shifting from that ever-so-faint mindfulness of someone next to him to a slightly more aware state. Jamie tilts his head down to plant a soft kiss on her cheek, brushing a slightly stubbly chin against her in an almost questioning way.]

"Can't DO anything about them, though," the book grumbled. Not that there was a damn person on the ship to do anything with even if he COULD. "But no offense, but I prefer to hit on people who can say the word 'sex' without turning red."

Unless he's drunk.

[ Which, in turn, makes Kaylee giggle. She leans up to give him a kiss, but when she pulls back she opens her eyes...

And stares at Jamie, extremely confused, for a good long minute. ]

"I know that," Katara replied, trying to be sensitive about this even if it was the Overlord. "And hey, I'm only fifteen. I shouldn't be thinking about stuff like that anyway! These are the years where teenage hormones rage out of control!"

Or so she'd understood from what she's read in the media library, not to mention her own urges.

[still out of it, she pulls herself over to whomever it is and gets comfortable.]

"You're about as raging as a sedated monk," Zetta scoffed. "But you've exceeded my expectations. You didn't turn red when I said 'sex.' There may be hope for you yet."

In an aside, he added, "...may be hope for MATT yet."

She is unaware, but Hit Girl can atually be really cute in her sleep. She grumbles a little, then kicks out in a nudging fashion, much like a sleeping puppy.

[Sasami grumbles a bit at Hit Girl's nudge, waking her up a bit... and she tries not to make a noise as she sees who she's with.]

Hit Girl moans a little, slowly opening her eyes...and sees sasami there.

"The hell? What are you dong here princess?"

"I... I wish I knew...!" Sasami said, blinking and blushing. "I... guess I ended up sleepwalking here..." She looks away, obviously embarrassed.

"I don;t turn red for something like that!" Katara said, happy that she could at least handle hearing about the subject now...thank you, Sheeana.

Well, until he said THAT.

"WHA-HA-W-we haven't even talked about something like that yet!" Katara sputtered "Is your mind wired to perversion?!"

"Hey, you're a guy, he's a girl, you're going out, what do you THINK is going to happen?"

Zetta grinned, then paused and frowned. "Don't even need to limit it to a guy and a girl. You're going out, you think it's gonna be chaste smooches and innocent hand-holding forever, Ms. Raging Hormones?"

"I THINK we're going to have fun going out and kiss and be happy! There is more to relationships than sex you know! We can have meaningful things that we do that maybe one day will lead to that."

Not that she hadn't thought about it a little, but she wouldn't let anyone know that. Hell, no one would even know how far she nad Aang almost went.

"I know that! If you ever met Fate and Nanoha, you'd know that any relationship can work. And my hormones aren't raging, ok! I'm...keeping them under control!"

"Hyaaaa ha ha ha ha!" Zetta has a lot of guesses, Katara. The book was looking at her entirely too knowingly. "If he tries anything forward too soon, kick his ass. I'd offer, but I don't need to."

Katara rolled her eyes. "Matt is a perfect gentleman Overlord, to the point that it would probably frustrate you. I've seen him when he cares about someone like that: its deep and its true with him. Without making you sick, I can tell you that if Matt and I ever wanted to go that far, he would never rush. It would happen naturally."

[The kiss is nice - very nice - and Jamie's more than happy to return it. He's about to try for another when he senses something's off. Muzzily, he opens his eyes to see what's going on, and they promptly widen in surprise.]

K-kaylee?

"Yeah, till a sex virus gets released or something," Zetta said. But then he adopted that familiar wicked grin. "But maybe you'll get yourself infected too!"

Katara opened her mouth for an angry retort, than thought about it. She would have said it was impossible for that to ever happen, but she'd been on this ship long enough to know that was completely NOT the case.

"Well then, it'll be stupid virus' fault!" She finally said.

Jamie, what--

[ Okay. Okay, there's got to be a reason for this, right? Of course there is, someone's pranking her or something because there is no way she would anything on Dean and. And. ]

Oh God. Oh God oh God oh God--

[ And dragging the blanket with her to find her coveralls now. ]

And now it was time to mess with Sasami again.

"A likely story," she said. "Listen squirt, if you're afraid of the dark just say so, but you don't have to go and sneak into someone's room for that. They could be, you know, in the buff or something. And who knows what kinda sickos like looking at little girls sleeping in a bed?"

[That leaves Jamie with his shirt. And a pillow. Thank god for that.]

Kaylee, I...

[He reaches out as if wanting to try and help stop her from freaking out, but he can't really blame her here. His hand drops back down to the bed. It occurs to him a little belatedly that maybe he should probably turn away or something, at least until she can find her coveralls, too, so he'll just be doing that now and talking to her over his shoulder.]

Look, I'm sure nothing happened. It's just someone's idea of a joke, aye?

[ Oh where the hell are her coveralls why can't she find her coveralls AAAH. ]

Some joke, bunch'a--

[ And she's broken off into Chinese swears, some of which get translated to some key phrases such as, "Frog-humping sons of bitches." Fantastic mouth on this girl. Once she finds her coveralls, though, she calms significantly. Just putting those on now... ]

...'M sorry, Jamie, 'n I'm sorry if anythin'...if...

[He doesn't seem too phased by the swearing - probably because he's not getting the full meaning out of the words. He can tell she's unhappy, though, and he replies to her rather gently.]

Why are ye sorry? I should be the one apologizing for not knowing they put ye there in the first place. I'd not have let them if I knew.

[Feldt is a snugglebunny.

[This is why Feldt doesn't drink much. At least she's still got a shirt on?]
