Although they're very similar in some ways, in many others, Zouichi considers Anwei a very different existence. She seems to feel everything intensely, whether it's loyalty, sadness, or joy. For someone who's lived most of his life being independent, cynical, and a little distant, it's confusing and even jarring to speak with someone who does everything in a wholehearted manner. However, he finds that oddly enough, he doesn't really mind being pulled along with her.
