Cargn is kind of odd! On the one hand, Nanoha does look up to him and his experience, and she's found him nothing but cordial and pleasant to get along with; he's someone she knows she can go to for advice about a ton of things (well, those things relating to their mission, anyway). On the other hand, she always gets a very grim feeling from him, even when he's being perfectly nice. She gets the feeling his world is a tough one...
