No, seriously. After the whole 'being stuck in the astral plane for several years' thing before the Nightmare King incident, Aang's the closest thing Cargn has to a normal friend.
He does feel sorry for all of Aang's burdens he has to carry, but he also respects him for carrying them so well. Beyond that, he finds his typical optimism and enthusiasm refreshing.
If Aang ever needs anyone to rely on outside of his own circle, Cargn is there for him.
