Like all the other members of the Rangers, Jamie is proud to have them be a part of his team, and like Lash, he feels a little bit more protective over Kate, because, well, she's a woman and he's ridiculously old fashioned that way.

He's a little fascinated by the whole superhero thing, since his world doesn't have them (other than in comics and stories which came considerably after his time). He'd also like to get to know Kate (and the rest of the team) a little better, too, but he's been a wee bit distracted lately.
