She's the only real constant, along with his Gundam. That's helped keep his focused, with everything else changing around him.
Its also starting to dawn on him that Feldt's a girl, which, yes, he was aware of that on a practical level, but now that they're married its given him an added perspective that he never really considered before. He's seen romantic relationships, but he's never been in one, or even had to pretend to be in one. It's given him something new to think about. Still, he wouldn't really allow himself to think of having a relationship with her, since he's still convinced she's in love with Lockon.
