Kang let out a long string of very filthy curses, in a jumbled mix of nearly every language he knew.
The person he was talking to stared at him in shock, clearly not expecting that reaction.
"So... there's something bad about kender?"
"Let me put it this way," Kang took a deep breath, crossing his arms over his chest. "They talk constantly. They will take anything that isn't nailed down, including what's in your pockets. They are master picklocks, and they do not feel fear. Literally."
"They can't really be that bad."
He quirked an eyebrow ridge and gave the person a long, serious look.
"I would rather be locked in a room with a wing each of Dark Knights and Solamnics, and a flight of metallic dragons than deal with a kender for more than five minutes at a time."
