Ronnae had been running for a good five minutes now but it seemed her pursuers were not giving up the chase considering she decided (very stupidly she thought) to try and lose them through the park... which was damn empty this time of day.

She was afraid that screaming would give away her position to them and help wouldn't arrive in time to stop them, not knowing that they already knew where she was and were on hot pursuit.

Once she noticed they were right behind her a few feet away, she bolted and tripped, right in front of the weather analysis tool with a hard thud and a small yelp of pain. This was it wasn't it? She'd get robbed, or beaten or worse.
