Interesting things about the character: - Clone, bioweapon. One of 669 of them. Was the leader of their force when he was a child! - Ruined everything as their leader and they all died or went crazy. But it was either do that or destroy the planet, so that sucked. - Is the main focus for a good part of Xenosaga II and has a lot of focus on Xenosaga III (each character gets spotlight in III) - Can shoot bullets off of coins in mid-air. - Prefers old-fashion guns to techy lasery beam guns. Mimics cheesy action flicks in battle and sometimes ruins a mission as a result. - Quotes Dirty Harry in battle in the JP version. (Go ahead, make my day!) - Co-runs a foundation with his brother for 'sub-humans' like them, clones, victims of life-recycling, etc. Commands their flagship and does their dirty work. - Is 27, stopped himself from aging at 12. His brother is and looks 27, so Jr. acts like his son in public. - Had an awesome red dragon tattoo in his unlockable swimsuit in the second game. But it was retconned and not in the first and third games. - Quotes books like the Wizard of Oz and enjoys classic books from Earth. Squees over a restaurant called the Moby Dick looking just like the inside of the ship in the story. - Can play a few instruments, but taught himself harmonica as a child. - Has a 666 tattoo on his hand? (just in case nobody noticed, since it would be noticeable ICly XD) - Pilots a giant robot.
Interesting things about the canon/fandom: - Universe reset button. (not elaborating on that one because spoilers) - Features actual Jesus. - Futuristic space opera. - Enemies are alien-like creatures who exist in imaginary space, so you need technology to actually be able to hit them. - Many of the games relics and ~mysterious items~ are connected to or directly related to God. - Xenogears references! - One of two of the main characters is a godmode android who can summon guns out of hammerspace. - All three games have funny sidequests revolving around a special attack in the form of a Power Rangers-esque ultimate giant robot. - One character can behead himself and grow it back. - Features synthetic humans. - In the middle of the beamspam and robots there are two guys who swordfight. - The captain of one of the two main spaceships in the series has a hat that says "I am a boozer. Banzai! Banzai!" - Uh like shown in the comments above each game has unlockable swimsuits. :)
