Kaylee had run through enough of GLaDOS's exercises to understand that they tended to keep people busy whether you wanted her to or not. Still, with Simon gone so long, the expectation was that he would come up with the others from being repodded, and that he probably wouldn't remember anything about the ship.

She definitely didn't expect to find him wandering around outside the Obs deck, and almost continued her walk across the hall before she got a second look at him.
