"The plants don't like it?" Alanna watched Rosethorn uncertainly, thrown by the woman's phrasing. It wasn't as though she'd never heard something similar said before, but usually it was said in jest or at least not generally said in a terribly serious manner. This woman sounded very serious. "I suppose they'll have to make due. There don't seem to be too many options around here."
