The "Ask Characters Questions" Meme!

Okay guys, this is pretty simple but should be fun, and give us all something to do as we wait for things to happen as plot to progresses.

Post your character, and people can ask them things ICly or OOCly, as themselves or as their characters.

For example, "Hey Chief, what do you think of [x]?" or "Hey Zita, what does Chief think of [x]?"

Characters do not strictly have to answer honestly, but it's more fun (and more funny) if you make them!

Other than that, go nuts and have fun!

Humans are capable of a multitude of unpredictabilities. The mechanistic view of the universe cannot encompass all human action.

Nevertheless: Where you built or born?

[identity profile] standaloneshell.livejournal.com 2009-10-23 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
No? Perhaps that which you call mechanical, or what you understand as such is simply not a detailed enough resolution.

That which makes up myself, my individual thoughts and memories, that is what I have become was both born and built, growing together in such a way as to create a unique individual and personality. For someone like me, the line is very thin.

The people of your time must be still unable to shake off the dust of the time before Heisenberg. The metaverse has an infinite number of surprises. There is a limit to what can be known, thank the impotent gods for that!

So growing and building happened at the same time? Surely you were not a cyborg from the time you came from your mother's womb?

[identity profile] standaloneshell.livejournal.com 2009-10-23 05:02 am (UTC)(link)
Why not? It's completely possible.

[identity profile] worm-dancer.livejournal.com 2009-10-23 05:12 am (UTC)(link)
You are attempting to mislead me.

[identity profile] standaloneshell.livejournal.com 2009-10-23 05:20 am (UTC)(link)
Human beings aren't static. They grow and change every day, even moreso when young. It's not difficult to say that a young cyborg who grew up in a time of exponential increase in quality and complexity of robotic technology was both grown and built simultaneously.

Why? Childhood cyberization is pretty common these days. It's not any more painful than the ordinary mode of growing up.

The complexities and richness of the human body are lost to you. You cannot experience the rush of sex, the soupy cocktail of adrenaline, the whisperings of Other Memory. Addiction is lost to you and thus so is freedom from it. Pain is lost to you and with it, pleasure. It is not something I would inflict on a child.

[identity profile] standaloneshell.livejournal.com 2009-10-23 06:33 am (UTC)(link)
What kind of pitiful Cyborgs do you deal with?

I'm perfectly capable of feeling both pain and pleasure, and I regularly have to manually lower my adrenaline levels. No one who's seen a Net junky can claim someone with a cyberbrain is incapable of addiction, and as for sex...

...would you like to find out?

[identity profile] worm-dancer.livejournal.com 2009-10-23 06:37 am (UTC)(link)
Pitiful? I suppose so, yes. But they held the galaxy in their grip for hundreds of years.

...Are you propositioning me?

[identity profile] standaloneshell.livejournal.com 2009-10-23 06:38 am (UTC)(link)
To have power doesn't remove someone from a position as an object of pity.

Is there a reason why I shouldn't?

[identity profile] worm-dancer.livejournal.com 2009-10-23 06:40 am (UTC)(link)
Not at all, as long as you know you run the risk of me overloading your circuits.

[identity profile] standaloneshell.livejournal.com 2009-10-23 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
I could say the same of you. I'm very good at the things I do.

[identity profile] worm-dancer.livejournal.com 2009-10-23 06:49 am (UTC)(link)
I have more complete bodily control than even you and I am the most talented seduction mistress in thousands of years. The advantage is mine.
