The "Ask Characters Questions" Meme!

Okay guys, this is pretty simple but should be fun, and give us all something to do as we wait for things to happen as plot to progresses.

Post your character, and people can ask them things ICly or OOCly, as themselves or as their characters.

For example, "Hey Chief, what do you think of [x]?" or "Hey Zita, what does Chief think of [x]?"

Characters do not strictly have to answer honestly, but it's more fun (and more funny) if you make them!

Other than that, go nuts and have fun!

Not really. Near as Dr. McCoy--Erm. Hank McCoy. 'E's a doc what specializes in genetics an' mutants. Near as 'e could reckon, me powers either converted what I don' got anymore t' energy or it was jus' vaporized. Hard t' tell.

Well, I guess you would have to.

Well, I guess that's going on my list for today.

My List of Things That Are Impossible, But I Must Try to Accept Them, Anyway.

Or at least, they sound impossible and when I think about them, they give me a headache. But they exist, so.

Just like zombies and monsters and giant, killer crows.

Yeah, 'at's part of the problem with mutant powers. Sometimes they jus' don' make a lick of sense. But when yer sort of livin' with the impossible, makes acceptin' it a bit easier.

If this were me own world, you could add faeries, dragons an' phookas to that list.

Okay, the part about the faeries, dragons, and --- wait, what's a phooka?

Shapeshifter outta Irish myth. Nice enough, tends to help rather 'an harm, so could always be worse. Jus' would rather not run into one fer a good, long while. Rest of me life sounds 'bout roight.

...Also going on my list.

Well, if I ever run into one, anyway.

My time in a mutant school was very informative as to all the shite out there that jus' didn' make any sense.

Why do you also go masked?

'Cause there's nothin' unner the mask 'cept a lot of glowy energy. Said energy ten's t' freak people out. Can't say as I blame 'em, given it sometimes still freaks ME out.

'S me mutant power. When it manifested, everythin' in me chest an' torso turned int' energy. Blew out me upper chest, neck an' lower 'alf of me face.

...And that is survivable?

Is if yer body's built t' cope with it. Which, 'parently, mine is. Lucky me, eh?

...Lucky indeed. What are you, precisely?

Mutant. Means that I got a weird gene what gave me special powers. Unfortunately, me genes kin'a suck.

...Genes?

I have seen creatures mutated via dark magic, but...

Umm. Hard to explain. It's the stuff in your body that says what your hair color is and your eye color. That sort of thing. In my world, it also says whether you might have powers or not.

...Oh. Hm... most powers in my world are if you are one with magical affinity. Perhaps that is from genes as well.

If it tends t' run in families, yeah, 's probably genetic.
