The "Ask Characters Questions" Meme!

Okay guys, this is pretty simple but should be fun, and give us all something to do as we wait for things to happen as plot to progresses.

Post your character, and people can ask them things ICly or OOCly, as themselves or as their characters.

For example, "Hey Chief, what do you think of [x]?" or "Hey Zita, what does Chief think of [x]?"

Characters do not strictly have to answer honestly, but it's more fun (and more funny) if you make them!

Other than that, go nuts and have fun!

When I was fifteen, the was this...gang...thing I ended up at. It wasn't usually my scene, but...peer pressure and all, right? Anyway, I was just on the outside of the whole gang fight when there was this explosion-this nasty chemical stuff got all over, changed everyone. They called it the Big Bang. Nex thing I know, I'm waking up and these weird agents are rounding everyone up for their science experiments, I'm trying to get away and...lightning. I spent a bunch of time after that training myself, learning how to use it better, and in the end I just got a costume and started righting some wrongs.

Oh, so you weren't born with your powers either? One day I'd like to know the stories if all the people that didn't get their powers at birth. I know something like that kind of sounds like some kind of a mutation in...genes, I think it is? I'm not sure what you'd call that. Its sounds a little like a cause and effect kind of thing, like a fish being exposed to pollution and having two heads.

Although that was a little freaky, to be honest.

But I'm glad that you used your power for good. When I first saw them it scared me. Someone in my world can use lightning too, but she uses it to almost kill her opponents.

Pretty spot on, yup! Genes in the blood got mutated, turning me into what's called a Metahuman - basically, a mutant. Like a two headed fish, only not as creepy and certainly not gross (if I say so myself).

Nope, nowhere near as gross. You're a fairly good looking guy, honestly.

Metahuman. Could you tell me more about that?

Well, it basically means anyone with superpowers. 'Meta' basically means 'beyond'...I mean, a technical definition is more like transcending or a higher state of being, but those are kinda lofty... The idea is, everyone has a 'metagene'. This is the gene that, when activated, give you powers. Yours give you waterbending, for example, while your brothers is dormant (I don't know if that's actually how you work, really it's just more of an example). If your metagene is active, you're a metahuman; the big bang activated mine. Now, everyone's gene is different, it's how you can have so many superpowers like Black Canary's scream or Red Devil's...devilish looks.

That make sense?

Yeah, I think I get you. In my world though, sometimes its the person that makes me think they wouldn't have powers. For instance, my brother has a very logical way of looking at things. I could never see him with bending ability because he prefers to think in amore scientific way, more hands on. But that theory is pretty sound too. It'll be something I look up when I get the chance.

I'm glad you're on the ship, Static.
