The "Ask Characters Questions" Meme!

Okay guys, this is pretty simple but should be fun, and give us all something to do as we wait for things to happen as plot to progresses.

Post your character, and people can ask them things ICly or OOCly, as themselves or as their characters.

For example, "Hey Chief, what do you think of [x]?" or "Hey Zita, what does Chief think of [x]?"

Characters do not strictly have to answer honestly, but it's more fun (and more funny) if you make them!

Other than that, go nuts and have fun!

Yeah, I figured. I can understand why you'd ask the question.

To me, water is no less valuable just because its plentiful.

I know firsthand, most everyone in this ship requires water, those who aren't robots or aliens, that is.

And yet we have no independent source of it. Isn't that odd?

I have been working to assemble a number of stillsuits should we find ourselves in a situation where we need it.

That is pretty odd, although...I can pull it from Stacy if I really had to. I'd get violations for it though.

I wouldn't mind helping you with that.

I'll host a workshop when this latest sturm und drang is done with. Do you know what a stillsuit is?

I'll look forward to it.

No, but I wouldn't mind learning.

It's one of my people's traditional garments. It recycles, filters and cleanses all the body's water.

Wow, that's amazing!

What do you need to create something like that?

[identity profile] worm-dancer.livejournal.com 2009-10-23 10:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Filtcloth, fabric, tubing, needle and thread, assorted small metal fittings. With a well made one, water loss is kept to less than a thimbleful of water daily in the deep desert.

In that case I'd want to learn to make it as soon as I can. I'm pretty good with needle and thread.

And it sounds really useful.
