He's having trouble adjusting to this much light. Still, he manages to separate his wings just enough to get a half-blinded look at Roxie.

"The sun is up, yet I am awake," he says. Does he know this girl? No, no he does not. "I do not understand."

At least he isn't tearing them limb-from-limb for the coloring. Right? Riiiight?

And he CRUSHES THE STONE SKIN IN HIS MASSIVE TALONED HAND.

Finally setting them all down she looks them over again, shaking her head, a slight smirk curling up the corners of her lips. "Didn't I tell you? There had to be some reason that statue was there."

But hey, she still saved you didn't she? And she may not show it, but she's fussing over you. "Did any of you get hurt?"

"No," Roxie says, as she tugs a fragment of stone shrapnel out of her copiously-bleeding forehead.

This is Goliath's "oh shit" face.

"You're bleeding."

Okay, really? He could not have done ANYTHING to stop that. But there was that whole episode where he was locked in a cage until he took responsibility for his actions and -

"I'm fine," Roxie objects. If she's in pain, her face isn't really showing it. "Watch."

Her forehead's already starting to turn into a clotted mess. Eww.

Sherry wrinkles her nose at Roxie, and takes a step behind Kelly, away from the giant purple monster. "I'm okay," There's a little scratch on her shoulder, and she's lucky nothing else happened to her, really.

Then again, this is also the same little girl that fell twenty feet, twice, and was perfectly fine.

To his credit, he's a very calm monster.

"You . . . are not human?"

Coulda fooled him.

His eyes have adjusted a little bit more, so Goliath unfurls his wings a bit more, enough to see and be seen, but not enough to let the sun fall on his face full-force. Had he known it was this . . . burny, he'd have been less curious to see it when not wearing the Eye of Odin.

Kelly, noticing that the 'monster' doesn't seem to be a threat, and that it can speak, doesn't place herself to protectively in front of the children anymore. But she is wary.

Turning to Sherry she examines the scratch and ruffles the girl's hair. "Sorry about grabbing you like that."

"It's o--" Sherry begins, but then flails at Kelly, "Not the hair! Not the hair!" WHAT WAS IT WITH PEOPLE AND MESSING UP HER HAIR!?

"Kind of not human," Roxie says, discarding the bit of shrapnel.

She shuffles a little closer, to get a better look at Goliath.

The Spartan quickly pulls her hand back as if it's been burned, giving the girl a O_o look. "Uh...sorry?"

"That's why you should tie your hair back, Sherry-chan." Yuri's pigtails, while a little childish even by child standards, are pretty much muss-proof.

Goliath returns her curiosity.

"A halfling?" like Xanatos' son. Of the blood of Oberon, but of the blood of humans as well? Perhaps.

She glances over at Sherry and Yuri. "I agree."

Goliath is indifferent to hair ties.

"I don't have enough hair for that," Sherry reminds them and runs hers fingers through her hair to straighten it again. She did, however, have more than enough hair to mess up.
