Pikachu didn't waste time being shocked, only swerving to the side, dodging (albeit barely) the inevitable burst of gunfire aimed at his plane. Incoming rounds still managed to riddle one of his wings with holes, but the electric mouse had successfully managed to escape the brunt of that attack. Now it was his turn, and he he pulled up, looping his Sopwith Camel back up and around to get behind Mewtwo. "Pika pikapi!" he cried out, refusing to let the much larger cat Pokemon win.

The little mouse was good. Much better than Mewtwo had anticipated, and he turned his plane on its side in response, the tips of his wings not quite skimming the water. He wanted to be as small a target as possible when Pikachu opened fire, and this seemed the best way. Of course, he could have just tried reading the Pokemon's mind, or flinging the other plane way with telekinesis, but what would have been the fun in that?

That wasn't going to throw off the little fella, not at all, and he turned in response, aiming his guns at Mewtwo's tail and opening fire, dozens of rounds flying at the rear of the Psychic Pokemon's plane. Pikachu fully intended to win this sortie, and he wasn't about to let the opponent's size or surprise attack get to him.

That was unexpected, and Mewtwo had to turn suddenly to avoid his plane being shredded. Even still, holes now ran along the length of his plane, and he could only give a sigh of relief that nothing had struck his engine. Yet. He had to bring this pesky electric Pokemon down fast, before the battle turned even more in Pikachu's favor. He began rounding about, trusting his Fokker's superior turning to get around on Pikachu's flank, and finish off the other Pokemon.

No way. Pikachu saw the move coming, and while it was obvious he couldn't keep up with Mewtwo on the turns, he could at least prevent the other plane from flanking him, and he did so, swerving to follow, trying to bring his own gun to bear on Mewtwo's Fokker.
