"People," Alessa replied, watching the change in his actions, smiling faintly.

"I wouldn't come toward me with that intent," Alessa said. "I'm nothing that will make you feel good if you eat me. Trust me."

"Oh really?" This prompted the symbiote to do a swift dismounting flip, landing in a crouched position that still made Venom just as tall as the girl.

"I have a strong digestive system... heh... there's only one way to find out..."

"We won't BE finding out," came the reply, and the vines, the ones that had rendered Cristobella's little coven to pieces, showed themselves, slowly at forst, then quickening until they were ready to spring, the pincers only a little above Alessa. One could still see, by the look on her face, that is was SHE who controlled these weapons, and that a display like thsi was only the beginning.

"I am not a little girl, alien-thing."

Venom's grin only widened, those dagger-like teeth glinting in the sun. "And we are no 'alien-thing', girl..." As if in response to the vines showing themselves, several long and sinewy tendrils rose from his back, whipping about almost tauntingly.

"We are Venom. We are Symbiote. We are perfection."

Alessa looked all the more interested, and ventured closer. She wasn't scared: indeed, it took a lot to scare a demon. The ground around her started to look as if it were molting, and then it just looked dead.

"Pefection is a human concept," Alessa said, "But humor me. What makes you perfection?"
