Slobo visibly shuddered at the close contact. He hasn't actually had much, and it's very obvious.

Something about that shy sort of shudder, that reaction to her touch made Rose's smile deepen.

"I do what I want, and to hell with them. Nothing I ever do or say is going to be good enough for them. So why worry? I don't have to go completely over to the other side about it. Except if I got a shot at taking down Slade." She shrugged and sipped her beer. Slow movement and she turned over onto her side to proper her head on her hand, elbow digging into the sand.
