There weren't any words, and as usual Katara was content with that when it came to the two of them. She wouldn't bother thinking about how brief it would be, same as the last time. All that mattered was that she could be with him. It was what she'd wanted the moment she set foot on the ship.

And the kiss was enough to send a wave of heat across her body, and now she was really glad she had gotten clothed after all. Leaning into him, she felt a release she hadn't before, a bliss she'd never had until now. She felt right here, comfortable, and time seemed to stop with him all over again.

It had always been him, and always would be, now. She wouldn't let him get away again.
