THE DATING SIM MEME

Each thread-starter is the protagonist of their thread.
Each responder should supply a list of four options for them to choose from
Two of us will supply an example or something
Alternatively, just post four options and see who responds!
YAAAAAAAAAY

Don't blame me for the picture it just came with the meme, okay?

[Blink blink]

Nothing, I suppose. Why?

You want to visit the Sensoriums? I need to show you Unit 02!

[An excuse!]

After all, it's only one of the most powerful fighting machines ever built!

I play this. [He brings out his lyre to show Jamie.]

[Small laugh] I understand what you mean. And I would have liked to get to know more people as well. Have friends rather than people I work with.

[Hesitation and looking away] I'd like to talk with him, but I haven't seen him around. I wonder... Do you think he's avoiding me?

> [Probably. You did kinda die in front of him.]

Unit 02? You have a fighting machine?

I wouldn't mind seeing it, I suppose.

>[He's probably busy with other things. He wouldn't avoid you on purpose.]

[Reaching for his shoulder again] Brainy has repeatedly demonstrated that he cares about you. He'd probably question the logic of the situation at first, but I have no doubt that he would seize the opportunity to spend more time with you. He probably just hasn't had the time to realize that you're here.

In the meantime...I should probably take care of this spill. [He ducks to do just that. So much for stringent safety regulations.]

[identity profile] redheadcarrier.livejournal.com 2009-11-19 12:55 am (UTC)(link)
> [Time to show off my awesomeness!]

Well, come on!

[And she's off! Better keep up, Brainy.]

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2009-11-19 12:56 am (UTC)(link)
I guess. It's pretty normal for me though.

[Smirk] So you can have two of them running around causing trouble?

> [Yes that's-- What? No!]
> [Well that'll probably happen, yeah.]

> [Hit him with something.]

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2009-11-19 01:03 am (UTC)(link)
[Half a second of staring in confusion, then he's thankful that his flight ring let's him catch up pretty fast.]

Not that I mind, but I thought you meant later?

> [Shut up, we're here now!]
> [Well you weren't busy, so now is as good as later!]
> [Shush, check out my mecha!]
> [Fine! I didn't want to spend time with you anyway!]

...Right, the eye thing. Sorry.

What was the thing with D I just saw?

[identity profile] madeofwyn.livejournal.com 2009-11-19 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
[Yes that's-- what? No!]

[flaaail] What? No!

... at least you haven't compared them to my children yet.

No problem.

That's...huh. Wonder why that was there. Something from a mission. The guy's encryption was based off a sonnet. You can never tell with these people sometime.

>[Ask about the sonnet]
>[Ask why he remembers that]
>[Keep poking around]
>[Stop]

[identity profile] domeanthings.livejournal.com 2009-11-19 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
>[Ask about the sonnet]

Maybe he was a Shakespeare fan, too. What sonnet?

[identity profile] redheadcarrier.livejournal.com 2009-11-19 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
> [Shut up, we're here now!]

Well, we're here now! No point in leaving.

[She sweeps her hand around as Unit 02 fizzles into existence. It happens to be roughly forty meters talls.]

And this is my beautiful Unit 02!
encryptedlock: (are you sure)

[personal profile] encryptedlock 2009-11-19 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
Uhh...[He thinks about it, and the book of Shakespeare opens itself up to a page.]

I don't know, but it stuck in my head for some reason.

[personal profile] encryptedlock 2009-11-19 01:44 am (UTC)(link)
Then again, I guess if that guy was using it for encryption, there's a lot of people who think that way, huh?

Like this place. Do you guys get breaks, or is it pretty much all action, all the time?

>[Neverending hordes of zombies]
>[Breaks sometimes]
>[Depends who you talk to]

[identity profile] domeanthings.livejournal.com 2009-11-19 01:46 am (UTC)(link)
>[Breaks sometimes]

We get breaks. Sometimes there's just a lot of sitting around watching space go by and waiting for pods to pop, and sometimes? It's fighting for our lives. The problem is you're never quite sure what it's gonna be.
encryptedlock: (hey tex is that a real rifle)

So it's not that different from home, really.

Not really. There's less idiocy here. ...Mostly.

If it's a good day.
encryptedlock: (oh hello there)

Hey, any lowering of the overall idiocy level is okay by me. And at least you can laugh at the bad days once they're over?

Or, y'know, wish that you could strangle people for acting like morons and just get frustrated that you don't have real hands.
