THE DATING SIM MEME

Each thread-starter is the protagonist of their thread.
Each responder should supply a list of four options for them to choose from
Two of us will supply an example or something
Alternatively, just post four options and see who responds!
YAAAAAAAAAY

Don't blame me for the picture it just came with the meme, okay?

>Ah, that's a girly pretty thing.

Och, that's a bonny instrument. It's a lyre, aye?

OOC: No worries, still at work myself.

It is, yes. And you play a... [Studying the chanter.] Flute?

((OOC: Ugh, SO sorry about the lateness! This is going to continue until the end of the month, too, but after that, I'm on holidays for three months 8D))

> No, it's a chanter, it *insert tl;dr about the finer arts of bagpipes*

Aye, well, it does look like a recorder, but it's a chanter - it's the part where ye play the melody on the bagpipes. Ye can detach it, so ye can practice. It's much more portable than the full pipes, aye? Also, I think the crew may prefer to not hear the pipes at full volume all the time...

(OOC: Hooray for holidays! But until then, no worries about late tags. :) )

[Right, oops, his eyes nearly glazed over there...] These... bagpipes. They are loud, then?

>[They are a bit, yes.]
>[I am shocked and appalled at the insinuation!]
>[Like a pained cat with a megaphone.]
>[Not as loud as we can be together, baby.]

> They are a bit, yes.

Och, they can be a wee bit loud if ye are using the full pipes. Not so much if ye are just using the chanter.

What do they sound like?

>[Well, it's not like people really NEED eardrums... let me show you!]
>[Er, maybe I can play them somewhere less populated...]
>[Like a bull elephant in heat.]
>[Like... squeaking bed springs.]

(combines 2 and 3, whee)

Some people say the sound's a bit like a bull elephant in heat. Or squeezing a verra unhappy cat, aye? Er...I could play them, but maybe it's best if we're somewhere with more room, like the City? Especially if ye have sensitive ears.

[Raising a hand to his ears in surprise.] Yes, that might be wise. Lead the way?

>[Come on, then!]
>[Oh. You meant now?]
>[Okay. We can have a duet!]
>[Okay. Then maybe we can make some music of our own.]
