So you're, like, a doctor and a ninja? How can you cope with two highly demanding professions at once?

Well I don't really do that much straight up ninja work since I run a family practice but sometimes the two coincide quite nicely. It's good to be able to patch yourself up after almost getting shot to death.

That said, it's a fine balancing act and I have to really watch it morals wise. Assassination and surgery are awkward bedfellows at best.

See, maybe that's what I should have a go at. Taking pictures of imminent peril can just about scrape me a living but they don't help with the bruises.

Actually assassin by day and doctor by night is the worst combo available there, because assassinating people in broad daylight is hard and night is when all the people with weird stupid injuries like being stabbed through with a swordfish come out.

Oh god, swapped that around the second I got the funds to open my own practice trust me. The night shift emergency room intern years are NOT ones I long to go back to.

Because he's BATMAN!

He was just a normal guy, but he had a single conviction and for that he built himself into something symbolic and incredible that bad people the world over feared. He took that job into his own hands instead of sitting by and being passively supportive. He made change happen instead of just talking about it, and he did that because he wanted something better for everyone where he lived.

He's kind of a cynical guy by now, I know, but his ideals and his hands-on approach are something to be looked up to.

What made you decide to become a doctor?

It started out when I was really little as just a pure scientific fascination. When I studied the body to know how to kill efficiently it was really interesting and the more I leaned into the idea of medical training the more I found I just... really liked helping people.
