Tips for dealing with emotionally devestated Brainy? I could use them.

Also any and all background you might have on his love-life will either assuage or magnify my current level of guilt so hit me if you've got the knowledge.

Deal with an emotionally devastated Brainy the same way as you would anyone else. Don't force any physical affection on him -- indicate that you're open to hugs and such, but let him control the amount of hugging going on.

...If Brainy had any love life, he did a better job of hiding it than Lyle did, and Lyle was a spy for the United Planets before he hit adolescence.

Brainy does have a fondness for intelligent men and women who can snap him in half, though.
