The "Ask Characters Questions" Meme 2: The Sequel!

Is this really necessary? You've already done one of these— oh, fine.

Post here, and answer questions that are asked of you. Enjoy yourselves.

...I didn't think it was a waste. At least not as far as all the others who died were concerned. And I appreciated what everyone was trying to do for me as well.

I think you mean 'horrifying'. I've seen those things, they make me wonder how humanity managed to achieve the average intellect level they have in my time.

The point of having people who fight is to assure that the general populace has the freedom to be as stupid or otherwise as they please. From that perspective, it's truly a waste of time to rail against the more inane results of my work.

Funerals are for the living, not the dead.

I agree that the living benefit more from them, but I think you miss the point. A life, and the loss of one, is worth more than an 'inane result'. People are worth more than that. I think funerals are a way of realising that fact.

Maybe.

I suppose the end result of this is that you're more human than I.

I doubt it. For starters I'm actually Coluan, so it's a pretty safe bet that you're more human.

...and I know that isn't what you meant, but I don't see why we need to rank anyone as more or less 'human' than anyone else.

That's kind of you. But unnecessary.

[Quite suddenly brusque] Call me if you ever get permission not to be dead.

I'll... keep it in mind.
