6. Brainy met Bart Allen when Brainy was almost 3 years old. During a rare visit to Earth for him to give a presentation at a Physics Symposium, he was a given a tour of the Colugov Lab Complexes. While the adults were talking, he sneaked off and broke into one wing of the complex and found where they were keeping Bart Allen in his virtual reality world.
He watched some of the slowed down clips from what was going on inside Bart's little VR world and to his surprise, found that a copy of Dox was Bart's playmate. At first he wanted to demand they give him back, but when they told him that they were using the VR simulation to keep Bart from going insane, he decided to let him keep Dox. The reason he told them was that he had no need for the AI anyway, and there weren't any real practical applications for it, but the truth was, he didn't want someone else to grow up lonely like he was, and he knew his guardians wouldn't let him keep the AI anyway.
To this day, he hasn't told Bart this, or brought up that his Dox was called "Dox" for a reason, but it's part of why he's one of the only Legionnaires that actually tolerates the speedster, even if he does it with a great deal of vocal protest. Bart seemed fun, and the two year old Brainy had wished he could be his friend. Despite his very vocal protestations and the trouble that sometimes follows Bart around, he hasn't really been disappointed, and does consider Bart to be his friend.
7. Brainy is mostly science-sexual, but when he crushes on actual people, it's usually regardless of sex. While he typically ignores romantic and sexual feelings and focuses on his experiments, Brainy's had crushes on a fairly large group of people. Andromeda, Spark, Invisible Kid were the Legionnaires he crushed on the hardest, with a slight thing for Kid Quantum, but none of them were truly interested back or, barring Andromeda and Lyle, even realized he liked them. On the ship, he has his very obvious crushes on Brenda and Kara, but there are a few that are less obvious. Like his slight crushes on Robin, Wyn, and Billy Cranston, and--it'd take pain of death for him to admit it--he's intensely attracted to Asuka and Lois Lane.
Brainy tends to get squibbly feelings over three types of people: 1) the ones that throw the tiniest bit of affection his way (especially blonds), 2) People he admires for their intellectual prowess or for either reasons, like their virtuous tendencies, or 3) People that don't take his shit and could probably bend him into a pretzel.
Brenda and Kara just happen to fit all three categories so both girls make him a little loopy. He's very messed up on the romantic end, though, and a part of him sort of realizes how needy he is, and how easily he latches onto people, so he mostly just nips all these feelings in the bud, and tries to act very cold and distant until they go away.
8. Though it'd be damn near possible to get him to sing, he has a lovely singing voice. He's a tenor and has perfect pitch.
9. The monkey sleeps cuddled up to his head every night, and always has ever since he's had him. When Koko left Brainy and went off with his new family, Brainy took to cuddling a blanket by his head, like he cuddled blankets when he was little to just have something there. He also cried for a little bit. After Dox, who he'd programmed to be his friend, and RJ Brande, who'd been his boss, Koko had pretty much been the first living being ever to act like he liked him. The monkey was pretty much his first friend.
