"Adventure" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aD8p7k8asc) by Be Your Own Pet sort of works for him - at least prior the revelation that THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE IS DEEEAAAAAAD, when the whole stuck-on-an-alien-ship thing suddenly became less fun and awesome.
I tend to associate Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUBwjyhRweQ) with the Royal Cup/NC0 in general, but it fits Vega's attitude particularly well, I think.
