Gleefully stolen from [livejournal.com profile] mutantprom...

Because we needed another meme, amirite? Anyway, here's the...

Here's the HEARTMETER:

"I would kill you."

"I would physically or emotionally hurt you."

"I wouldn't hurt you, but I still don't like you."

"You scare or intimidate me."

"I would stupidly hero-worship you."

"I would like to get to know you better or meet you."

"I would spend time/have fun/be friends with you."

"I respect you."

"I would rescue you or fight by your side."

"I reluctantly have something resembling parental feelings and/or responsibility toward you."

"I would get drunk with you."

"I would hug you or hold your hand."

"I would kiss you."

"I would date you."

"I would have sex with you."

"I would love you."

"This isn't a heart. This is me trolling you."

I would be needled then and I wouldn't mind. Everyone needs and deserves hugs, whether I've met them or not. [headtilts] If more people were willing to see such a thing, many histories would be changed for the better, yes?

So, even with the danger of being pricked...I shall still give what I have. Which are hugs. Lots of them.

...you know what? I can't disagree. I was taught to refrain from emotional displays, but I had a friend at home who would hug me every so often. It embarrassed me at first, but I felt at peace every time she did.

I don't actually have needles, but it's admirable that you wouldn't let that stop you.

One should always give hugs. They are meant to provide comfort and peace as well as show the other person you are not armed. At least...if they are a good, well intentioned person. [frown] But, yes, I would not let such a thing stop me from giving something I rarely had myself.

It is the only gift one may give that costs nothing but a moment of time and a token of trust.
