I do. I have seen much and have been welcomed, myself, by strangers. How can I not care for others in the same manner, when I who once had nothing save sand was give a home, friends, and true family in this place?

That's quite admirable, actually. Something I wish all sentients could apply to others around them. And you yourself seem like someone I wouldn't mind meeting some time.

Though maybe not for immediate hugging.

I don't really hug everyone, though I have hugged quite a few people. I think if more people respected each other there would be less conflict, but that is just common sense and it is a difficult think to convince others to ease away from their tendencies to afflict upon others violence in return for submission and territory.
