before joining atlantis, ronon was a runner who are people that have tracking devices surgically implanted into them and are then let lose so the wraith (the bad dudes of sga) can hunt them. his trademark weapon is his gun that everyone seems to want but can't have. and if he loses said gun, it somehow finds its way back to him.

chopper's a reindeer (read: venison waiting to be cooked). when he first met his captain, luffy wanted to eat him and sanji, the crew's cook, wanted to cook him. there's a re-occuring gag in one piece where they say that chopper's part of the crew because he's the emergency meat. sanji will also threaten to cook him if he plays up too much. and most recently in the manga, chopper was being hunted as food by some giant birds. unfortunately for him, chopper being mistaken for livestock isn't at all uncommon in the one piece world.
