twelvevoltman: is taken from a Jimmy Buffett song (http://www.sing365.com/music/lyric.nsf/Twelve-Volt-Man-lyrics-Jimmy-Buffett/DCE59CB3388BAF09482569A1003082DF) of that name, Jimmy Buffett being Allen's wife's favorite singer, and Twelve Volt Man being her nickname for her cyborg beau.

not_philistine: Goliath is named after the Philistine champion who struck fear into the hearts of good Israelite soldiers due to his gargantuan size and ferocity on the battlefield. Being cultured, philosophical, and a defensive soldier rather than a conquering champion, apart from his size and strength, Goliath the gargoyle has little in common with the biblical figure for whom he was named.

its_keeper: Will's main status within her group is as the Keeper of the Heart of Kandrakar, from which her teammates' powers spring. She keeps the MacGuffin.
