IC DATING SHOW MEME

THE IC DATING SHOW MEME

It works like this: characters post a comment in the form of a dating game (you know, the 'Hi my name is Cindee and I like long walks on the beach, pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain!' ones) and can be as serious or not as they like. Then others can respond anonymously (but still ICly) or logged in asking questions and being asked questions in return. Fun and spam happens!

Not at present, but I imagine it's easy to pick up.

But why does it matter?

Because you never know when you'll be called upon to pilot a giant robot in a synchronized dance-fight to save humanity!

Don't laugh, it actually happened to me.

You may say that now but just you wait until we find a planet made up entirely of performance artists!

What? Are you being more confusing on purpose?

Right. I don't believe you.

Besides, even if there was a planet with communication like that, what makes you think your idea of dancing would make sense to them, or be interpreted as you wanted?

All I'm saying is that someday the fate of the universe might depend on how well you can dance.

And I'm saying it's incredibly unlikely. I'll stick to things like superpowers and laser cannons, not to mention having a 12th-level intellect.
