EVERYTHING FOR GLORY!

Simple meme, guys. :D

Post with your characters. Other people can post with theirs and ask what your character thinks of theirs in the game. (Answer OOCly)

This might be useful for all of you doing character lists.

Have fun!

Synaesthesia.

The word may seem strange but the condition it describes is relatively common in minor intensities. In a nutshell, Synaesthesia describes a cross-wiring of the senses to varying degrees. Smelling or touching colours. Tasting sound. Things like this seem utterly out of the ordinary but these types of things are found within the realm of synaesthesia.
Only recently however, has the medical community taken this condition to any serious scrutiny but many discoveries have been made: It is most commonly found in artists, musicians or relatedly inclined people, including much of, if not most of, the disabled community. Sensory disabilities often heighten synesthesia in some individuals.

This, the inspiration comes out of modern science and turns into a meme.

Part I: If your character/s were colours, sounds, scents, textures or a cross between those, what would they be?
Post Mundanely (OOC-ly) and put your own character/s under the microscope.

Part II: What sort of sensory experiences do you and/or your character/s associate with/to others?
Post Mundanely and put other people's creations under your sensory microscope.

I suppose it's only fair to answer my own question, eh? Well, here goes.

Part I
I've always associated Renne with ocean-like and fire-like smells, odd as that is. But, like fire and water, he's a paradox waiting to happen. Mint comes strongly in with a touch of vanilla.
In the sense of touch, he comes across (with me anyway) as cotton-wool over wood. Like cloth thrown over the rolling deck of a ship.

Part II
Sensory experiences.
From Renne's point of...er..."view", pun intended, here are a couple.

Goliath comes off as something cool-yet-warm. Smooth, like a favourite leather jacket. Underneath that comes a hint of stone and steel. He smells like a roar and sounds like stone dust.

Billy Cranston comes off warmer with a hint of something sharp, like glass. Glass and a fine point of metal with sparks; the smell and sound of a different kind of intelligence. It's an intelligence tempered by the cool-dry of something always-seeking. Innocent to a degree, Billy's associated with the ocean and a hint of wood. He smells like laughter and sounds like fire.

Rhoiw has a playful warmth. Deep and dark but it's the kind of dark you could wrap yourself in and not want to come out of. Smells like the primal nature of survival and sounds like the touch of a friendly hand.
