What's more funny than mismatched accents, deep voices trying to sound high, and high voices trying to sound deep? Nothing! That's what!

The Mirror of Erised Meme

The Mirror of Erised, of Harry Potter fame, doesn't show the reflection of whoever looks into it. It shows them as they would be achieving their heart's deepest, most desperate desire whether or not it is possible. For instance: an orphaned boy who never knew his parents sees himself surrounded by the biological family he could never know, the oft-overlooked youngest son of a large family sees himself having his day in the sun outdoing his brothers, and the happiest man alive would look into the mirror and see only himself.

ROLEPLAY LOVE MEME

_{It's February, so why not spread some love early? Post who you love, what games make you smile, or post your own journals for a pick-me-up. Posting your own threads is encouraged and welcomed in this meme, so please don't hesitate!}

It's Transmigration 9 Studios. No, the name doesn't make any sense, except that the owner, Stacy, has owned eight studios before this and they've all crashed and burned. Which feels so great for the actors and their sense of job security, let me tell you.

As soon as they're done with their scenes, the characters stop playing their roles and make it real. The scripts are tossed aside, and they can relax now that the cameras are off of them.

What does this mean? Well, perhaps Billy is an actual college graduate, who is disgusted with the scientific inaccuracies and techspeak mumbo-jumbo of his character. Perhaps Kang is a fit Japanese man in a rubber dragon suit. Maybe Renne is a former theater actor that speaks with a posh English accent? Who knows, perhaps Nehaa is a conservative Catholic who finds her role as a stripperiffic space goat horrifying! And it might an ongoing joke off-screen that Leon can't fight for shit, Steve's actor stands in for him during action scenes.

Just roll with it, guys, it's better than my first idea of the night.

Okay, the way this meme works is you comment with a question that can be answered by the characters. Examples: "Do you believe in true love? If not, how do you feel about love?" or "What's the craziest thing you've ever done?" Then other players will respond to the comment and answer the questions. The catch is you can answer the questions IC or OOC. So you can have the character either answer ICly or you can explain the character's viewpoint on the subject. Or you can answer both ways. For instance, you can have your character answer ICly, but elaborate on their viewpoint or state things they wouldn't say out loud. Entirely up to you.

Characters can respond to the answers and play things out like usual.

You can also add new questions. Just make sure you're not repeating something. (You might want to post questions anon-ly, so you don't get a million notifies from the answers).

I'm going to post a bunch of questions to start us off but if you have your own, go nuts!

PARTY HARD

This meme is simple. Pick a party game. Here is a pretty good list. In the mood for Duck Duck Goose? Beer Pong? Hitting a pinata? Pin the Tail on the JulianDonkey? Mafia/Werewolf? Spin the Bottle? Truth or Dare? There's even a Twister mat out there!

Make a post. Get some friends/other characters. Play! And thus, memes are born.

I'd suggest keeping things small, to make it easier on the other players. Don't be afraid to have multiple games running at once, y'all! But one rule, try to keep things worksafe.

For the adults who don't feel like that, well. There's another meme for you guys. Perverts.

The Sensoriums are empty. Everyone's working, you should be nice and alone. You grin to yourself, conjuring a hardwood floor, and a set of stairs.

You grab an object. Could be a wand, a sword, a feather duster, a candlestick. You don't give a shit. You don a loose shirt, a nice set of underwear, and some socks (for those of you who can wear socks).

Finally, you push everything on the stereo all the way to the max. As the piano music starts up, you slide into the doorway.

You're dancing. You're grooving. Hell, you might even be singing.
