The I'd Hit It Meme

The I'D HIT IT Meme
{borrowed/inspired by: [livejournal.com profile] nottome}

Let's face it. There are some pretty hot people out there. Ever pointed somebody out to your friends and say, I'd hit it?

Well now you have the chance to say it to their faces!
The rules of the game are simple:

1. Comment as your character. (One comment per character.)

2. Comment to others!!! Don't be shy!!!

3. Got a friend who's too shy? Post their character's name for them! They may or may not thank you for it.

4. IT'S FOR FUN, YOU GUYS. FUN!

Sometimes a person gets busy, and there ain't always time to pay attention...

Good a time as any, I think~
onceadragon: (I am cute!)

[personal profile] onceadragon 2010-01-22 09:44 am (UTC)(link)
I very well could be!

[identity profile] carbon-copy-man.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 11:42 am (UTC)(link)
Feisty. I like that.

You could do that, I guess. But I don't have any invulnerability or healing factors or anything. And you do know what happens if you try and force a normal human through a wall, don't you?

[identity profile] madeofwyn.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 11:57 am (UTC)(link)
[I can't say I found that .gif, but I will be abusing the hell out of it now that I know it exists. XD]

Well, obviously I haven't seen the ones you design. And what isn't exciting about accidental wanton destruction? Sure, you've got to rebuild whatever you were working on that caught on fire, but it adds a little variety to your day.

Why don't we experiment and find out exactly what happens?

[identity profile] outthink-death.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 12:10 pm (UTC)(link)
[It is pretty awesome. And you know, Wyn. *KES IS SHOT FOR BAD PUNS*]

When the accidental wanton destruction results in the death and/or dismemberment of people you care about. Next pointless question?

[identity profile] carbon-copy-man.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 12:11 pm (UTC)(link)
If you really want. Of course, every impact just makes more of me, but maybe you like that kind of thing?

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 12:18 pm (UTC)(link)
[I keep getting distracted by the fact that icon is moving in time to my music.]

...That does sound a lot like the Hive Mind. But with less. Enforced similarities. At least I imagine a measure of individuality isn't looked down upon?

Don't you wish you had the freedom to make your own choices?

[identity profile] kaya-waterwave.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 12:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Aww, but you're sweet! *hugs*

[identity profile] kaya-waterwave.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 12:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Uh, would you be mad if I said you were pretty, Billy?

[identity profile] tachikhromatic.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 01:25 pm (UTC)(link)
[That is, oddly enough, something I hear a lot ^^]

Well, it used to be! We once were all sent back to the lab for analysis! One of us had gone materialistic and begun collecting physical media— paper books! Can you imagine?

They dismantled that one's brain. It seemed happy about it, though. Hey, do you think that one actually experienced death? [wistful sigh]

Of course nowadays it's pretty different! We're under the Major's command exclusively, without oversight. She even lets us have individual names! So exciting!

Well...sure, I guess...But we can't just abandon the Major!

[identity profile] madeofwyn.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 01:26 pm (UTC)(link)
[Pfft, like I haven't made that pun? XD /points at username]

I'm sorry, I'll just be over here marveling at the fact that you care about people.

[identity profile] outthink-death.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 01:45 pm (UTC)(link)
[True, but it's also Wyn in that it looks like how she'd react. XD]

Hmph. Not that I care for your opinion on something you clearly have no understanding of, but why do you assume I don't care for others' wellbeing?

[identity profile] madeofwyn.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 03:30 pm (UTC)(link)
[THEREFORE IT IS PERFECT. :3]

So why are you asking for my opinion? You're a jerk, and I'm definitely not seeing the heart of gold. ... okay, TV Tropes has officially ruined my life. [She's not trying to be insulting, it's just a fact.]
morphitudinous: (Positive)

[personal profile] morphitudinous 2010-01-22 06:27 pm (UTC)(link)
No, why would I be angry? [Flattered and slightly embarrassed, perhaps, but...]

Thank you, Katara.

[identity profile] kaya-waterwave.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 06:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Well some guys don't like that, so I was trying to be considerate.

Of course!

[identity profile] demon-alessa.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 06:46 pm (UTC)(link)
If that actually is true it would offend several of the crew's personal morals and standards, and they would despise you.

I knew there was a reason I liked you.

[identity profile] venominsilicon.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 09:12 pm (UTC)(link)
If their way of doing it wouldn't be physically debilitating to someone of a different species... yeah, I'd be willing to work something out.

[identity profile] notadamnangel.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 10:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Hard to fight over an Earth that don't exist, yeah.

[identity profile] outthink-death.livejournal.com 2010-01-22 11:59 pm (UTC)(link)
[IT'S A WYN/WIN SITUATION?]

I never claimed to have a heart of gold, but you don't honestly believe that to be necessary to care for the well-being of others? [He's genuinely curious about her reasoning now.]

[identity profile] forthewyn.livejournal.com 2010-01-23 12:17 am (UTC)(link)
[The puns, they just keep coming! XD]

Jerk with a Heart of Gold is... a phrase that would take me way too long to explain, given its roots in a very specific section of early 21st century Earth pop-culture which I'm pretty sure you're not familiar with [aka it's a trope and TV Tropes would take forever to explain] but... okay, so you're a superhero, right? You save people, build stuff that saves people, whatever, but you act like everyone in here is beneath you somehow. If you feel that way, why bother to be a superhero, and if you don't feel that way, why act like it?

[identity profile] outthink-death.livejournal.com 2010-01-23 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
[I'M SURE I COULD MAKE MORE.]

So you believe saving others and caring about people must be mutually dependant on each other? Hmph. Because clearly no one could do such things for moral reasons.

[identity profile] madeofwyn.livejournal.com 2010-01-23 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
[DO GO ON.]

What sort of morality advocates saving people but not caring about them?

[identity profile] foreseen-future.livejournal.com 2010-01-23 07:23 am (UTC)(link)
It's in the past, Love. I understand now that the universe in unpredictable, but I trust you.
