The I'd Hit It Meme

The I'D HIT IT Meme
{borrowed/inspired by: [livejournal.com profile] nottome}

Let's face it. There are some pretty hot people out there. Ever pointed somebody out to your friends and say, I'd hit it?

Well now you have the chance to say it to their faces!
The rules of the game are simple:

1. Comment as your character. (One comment per character.)

2. Comment to others!!! Don't be shy!!!

3. Got a friend who's too shy? Post their character's name for them! They may or may not thank you for it.

4. IT'S FOR FUN, YOU GUYS. FUN!

Maybe this was started by some of the less subtle members of your species?

That's a little odd as well. But then so are a lot of things humans - and other humanoid species, I suppose - do. At least from my perspective.

I can't help but think they would be even less subtle.

They're odd from my perspective too. But that's just because I don't know the reason why it's like that yet.

Is it even possible to be less subtle?

Reason why what's like that?

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 12:17 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. They could've posted something about how great they are and said to comment and they'd get back to you if you met their standards.

There's always reasons. You can't assume it doesn't make sense just because you're not familiar with something like it.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 12:19 am (UTC)(link)
You apparently didn't notice how some of them do do that.

Oh, I see. I understand that aspect, actually. Though I'm not sure I want to understand some of the reasons.

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 12:23 am (UTC)(link)
The Legion ring might've convinced them I'm not someone to annoy. Though it seems to encourage flirting, not discourage it.

Yeah, in that case I worry it'll be some barbaric part of our past. That would just be depressing.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 12:31 am (UTC)(link)
Really? I hadn't noticed that side effect. Are you sure it's not something more specific to yourself?

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 12:33 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think it is. It seems to get people's attention one way or another.

Of course, I was leader of the Legion for awhile, which made it hard to be discreet at all. (And oh, how did he hate that.)

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
It's a pity you can't keep it cloaked, in that case.

My counterpart mentioned that. And actually, that's one reason why I'm not so interested in a leadership role. I find it easier just to offer advice where necessary. [Read: boss people around.]

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
I can turn off the tracking and make it invisible, if I want.

I'm fine with leading the Espionage Squad. But being in charge of everything is too much stress. Not to mention that I'm not the kind of guy who should be on camera. (Leading from behind the scenes is much better, yes.)

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 01:25 am (UTC)(link)
Then couldn't you do that more?

Understandably. The Espionage Squad wouldn't be very effective otherwise. Not that my Legion has one, actually.

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, but since I've been on camera so much now, I think I might be recognizable no matter what I do.

I always wanted our identities and abilities to be a little more secure, but that wasn't my choice. And the Legion isn't like being a spy for the government.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 01:38 am (UTC)(link)
Holographic projectors to disguise your identity?

...what is being a spy for the Government like?

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-01-21 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe. I usually don't bother with disguises too much, since I can just disappear.

Classified. I will tell you that being with the Legion is so much better you can't even compare the two.
