CARS! THE FIRST

Okay! So, this one's simple. All you have to do is look at your characters and either tell us what car they would drive, or show us a picture. And explain why.

Don't tell us what they'd like to drive. But what they would, given personality, physical needs, monetary stuff, whatever.

If you're not sure, just post your character's name for unhelpful suggestions!

"Look, it's kind of invisible, like you!"

Yes, I can see them messing around in that thing. Dudes dig cars, y'know.

Well Brainy wouldn't dig it 'cause he's boring like that, but he'd probably go for a ride given the chance.

...unless there was more interesting science going on, that is. T__T

"Come on, Brainy, we're doing a scientific inquiry into whether going really fast and doing tricks in this car will get us dates."

Re: Lyle Norg

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-28 07:15 am (UTC)(link)
"...Lyle you know as well as I do that that's not science."

Re: Lyle Norg

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-01-28 03:13 pm (UTC)(link)
"Well, there's physics involved. That counts. Come on!"

Re: Lyle Norg

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-28 09:20 pm (UTC)(link)
"...alright. But there seems to be one flaw in your plan. Isn't the practice of doing tricks and going fast in a vehicle supposed to impress women?"

"Trust me, Brainy, 'I have a ton of money, let's be stupid with it' is completely gender-neutral."

Re: Lyle Norg

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-28 10:18 pm (UTC)(link)
"That might be the case, but I still don't see the appeal."

[Also, you uh, don't have any problems with maybe having a few extra icons, do you? I may have gotten carried away. <<; ]

"It's fun, Brainy. It's subjective."

[*snerk* I definitely don't have a problem with more icons.]

Re: Lyle Norg

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-28 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
"Have you tried telling my counterpart that?"

[\o/ Well I figured you could pick and choose and/or use Saphie's trick of keeping any extras in an image hosting account.]

"No, he'd probably just say that working in the lab is fun. And I'd have even less chance of convincing him to leave it."

[Yes. =D What else do I have a domain for?]

Re: Lyle Norg

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-28 11:42 pm (UTC)(link)
"Well working in the lab is fun. But... I guess this is too."

[Exactly. XD And now I don't feel so bad about it taking a while. *waves a tiny flag*]

"It is. But every once in a while I wonder if he's starting to grow moss, and I just can't tell because he's already green."

[No rush! I appreciate it! ...I was looking for things to icon earlier today and I think I've found the worst art in the series. It's a gift.]

"Lyle, I hate to have to tell you this, but Coluan's aren't actually plant-based life forms."

[XD Is that some of the ones where the art was a) too old, b) too young, or c) everyone has really looong faces for some reason? ]

"You know what they say, a rolling stone gathers no moss. A stone that just sits around in the lab all day doing experiments, on the other hand..."

This. I don't even know what this is. (http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g4/bluepard/whatisthishelp-LSH116-22.jpg) Sadly, that's one of the better pages.

"Somehow I think he'd take issue with us rolling him down a hill. [Don't look now, but this Brainy makes jokes?!]"

ASGH I REMEMBER THAT. Yeeeeeeah. One of the issues that I opened, blinked at, then just closed it again and moved onto the next one. :|b

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-01-29 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
"Why? It's pretty fun, though you get dizzy. [No, he's not joking.]"

Why must you hurt me, Legion, when I love you so? *shakes fist*

Re: Lyle Norg

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-29 03:08 am (UTC)(link)
"....You've done that before?"

I'm starting to think loving comics is ALWAYS an abusive relationship. :(

Re: Lyle Norg

"The simplest, cheapest way to make ice cream is with two barrels rolled around. You might as well roll yourself around before you make the ice cream."

Even when the comic doesn't hurt you, it's inevitably canceled. ...but One Piece still loves me.

Re: Lyle Norg

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-29 03:26 am (UTC)(link)
"....that doesn't make even an iota of sense."

Oh god this. And then not actually released in trades, so you don't even get to reread it and remember the good times. T___T

Re: Lyle Norg

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-01-29 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
"Which part?"

I think it's more that the editors hate us. The comics want to be good!

Re: Lyle Norg

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-29 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
"How does rolling around contribute to your... dubious method of making icecream?"

Yeah. What did we ever do to them anyway?

Re: Lyle Norg

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-01-29 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
"It churns the ice cream, of course."

Gave them our money?

Re: Lyle Norg

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-01-29 04:02 am (UTC)(link)
"Don't they have machines for that? And why would you need to roll yourself?"

Damn, I thought that might make them be nice to us.
