WAKING UP!

Your character is in a nice, warm bed, wearing their bedclothes (or lack thereof) of choice. It's comfortable, it's fluffy, and it's great...

Unfortunately, someone's in bed with them. They might roll over and accidentally cop a feel before waking up fully, they might notice the heat on their backs, but whatever the case may be, there's someone in there with them. They could easily remember the night before, how that happened, but...

Where's the fun in that?

[Oh, now the blurry head has eye-shapes for him to squint at. Awesome. He stops to think and calm himself down.]

I don't have a single memory that might be useful. I fell asleep alone in my own bed after a long night in the lab, and then I awakened to find you here. Or...I'm almost certain I did. Perhaps I'm still asleep.

I fully apologize for the intrusion. [Sets about straightening up his appearance, trying not to think about what he just did.]

Do you have any pertinent memories?

[Brainy frowns and shakes his head.]

No, I don't even remember going to sleep actually. Just waking up here. And I don't think either of us would have consciously sought out the other.

Then maybe there's some physical evidence. [Evidence that he'll have to see in order to seek out. Cue clumsy nightstand-searching for glasses. He really should've had that surgery.]

I'm glad that you're all right, but...I can't help but wonder who would place us in the same bed, or why. GLaDOS, maybe, but this seems to be beyond her capabilities.

[Brainy extends his arm further to grab the glasses and offer them to Billy.]

Maybe... After the mistletoe situation, it wouldn't be that surprising. And short range teleporters could have been used to move everyone around.
morphitudinous: (...what in the name of)

[Billy accepts his glasses gratefully. Hurrah, he can see!]

Wyn was working on a short range teleporter, actually. Her model needed some serious work before it could teleport living beings, though. If GLaDOS has the technology...hmm. I'd like to study it, but she'd never allow me to.

[Yay, science! Excellent distraction from his unconscious cuddling earlier.] I wonder if anyone else experienced this?
